The arts make us feel connected to one another and less isolated. Through the arts we share an emotion and that sharing connects us with each other and we realise we all feel the same emotions. The arts are our last hope. We find our identity and make it easier and more pleasurable to live and they also give us wisdom.

Dance, music, drama, art and experiential learning are notjust considered at VTS as “extra” curricular activities but an elemental part of learning. Performing arts — dancing, singing and drama keeps the creative side of the brain of the child engaged providing an ideal balance in child’s patterns of study. For example, functions in mathematics may be explained with musical patterns while symmetry could be taught with art projects. Children have the occasion to rejoice the wealth and depth of human articulation in all of its forms. Through artistic demonstrations students learn to understand our world well and are thus better prepared to navigate the challenges they might face in the post schooling years.
SPORTS / GAME / YOGA

Physical Education and Games & Sports form an integral part of our educational program. The students are encouraged to participate in various district, state and national level sports and games competitions. The school appoints professionally trained and experienced coaches who strive hard to produce good sports persons. These coaches ensure that the children are physically fit. The school provides a comprehensive range of indoor and outdoor games. Yoga and Karate are given importance in the school and the children are regularly provided grounding & tutelage for the same.
VIDYA GENESIS / VIDYA PRAVAH
Venting Creative Hand
Student creativity finds true expression through the in-house newsletters — the ‘VidyaPravaah’ and ‘VidyaGenesis which are published thrice a year. At VTS the knowledge expression intention of the students is not to be ignored and thus for lending a true vent to the students knowledge & learning, twice a year the two bulletins are published. For VidyaGenesis research articles/papers are contributed not just by the faculty but also by the scholarly and keen faculty engaged in the eminent institutions nationwide.
