Vidyanchal's Code of Conduct

Preamble

This Code of Conduct outlines the behavioral expectations for all Vidyarthis at Vidyanchal The School, Akot. Adherence to these guidelines ensures a safe, respectful, and conducive learning environment for everyone.

1. Attendance and Punctuality

● Attend school regularly and arrive on time for all classes and activities

● Provide written explanation from parent/guardian for any absence

● Late arrivals and early departures require prior permission from the office

2. Academic Integrity

● Complete all assignments honestly and independently

● Plagiarism, cheating, or copying in any form is strictly prohibited

● Respect intellectual property and cite sources appropriately

3. Respect and Courtesy

● Treat teachers, staff, peers, and visitors with dignity and respect

● Use appropriate language at all times; abusive or offensive language is not tolerated

● Respect diverse cultures, religions, and viewpoints within the school community

4. Discipline and Behavior

● Follow instructions given by teachers and school authorities promptly. Must adhere to School DHBS.

● Maintain decorum in classrooms, corridors, library, and all school premises

● Physical violence, bullying, or harassment of any kind will result in serious disciplinary action

5. Uniform and Appearance

● Wear the prescribed school uniform with pride and maintain neat appearance

● Sports uniform must be worn on designated days only

● Identity cards must be displayed at all times on campus

6. Technology and Digital Conduct

● Use electronic devices only with teacher permission during school hours

● Cyberbullying, sharing inappropriate content, or misusing technology is prohibited

● Respect digital privacy of others

7. School Property and Environment

● Keep classrooms, laboratories, and campus clean

● Handle school property, furniture, and equipment with care

● Damage to property will require reimbursement and may result in disciplinary action

● Use dustbins and contribute to environmental conservation

8. Safety and Security

● Do not bring prohibited items such as weapons, harmful substances, or unauthorized materials

● Report any safety concerns to school authorities immediately

● Follow emergency procedures and evacuation protocols

9. Co-curricular Participation

● Participate actively in school events, assemblies, and activities

● Represent the school honorably in competitions and inter-school events

● Support peers and demonstrate team spirit

10. Communication

● Communicate concerns through proper channels (Class Teacher → Maharishis/Rishis → Principal)

● Parents should use the school diary or official communication platforms

● Unauthorized meetings or gatherings on campus are not permitted

Consequences of Violation

● Disciplinary measures will be taken for non-compliance, ranging from warnings and parent meetings to suspension or dismissal, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.
